On the Road...

Hopefully we are getting this to solve our storage and space problem...
Daddy and Savannah hit the bike trails on our only nice day. She loved it.
Savannah strapped in her bike trailer. She has her power chocolate milk in a Dora cup
All ready to go.
I can't believe she stayed in there for an hour--Rich said she even took a little snooze.
Looks pretty comfy and the way to travel We were out to breakfast earlier and she just looked so pretty by the tree
Posing
Pretty
Precious
My kids in Starbucks--where else?
Savannah loves to help mix the formula
Too cool with my belly showing in my sunglasses in Starbucks
Seth hanging at Starbucks
Just missed them laying together--iphone is too slow and she wouldn't go back. We need a digital SLR.
These pictures are from Rich's iphone from over the weekend.

Fun With Fantastic Friends

My friend Shelby from Florida was in MA this week and we got together for dinner last night. Shelby is one of the first people I met on the "Internet" when we started the process to adopt Savannah. Her beautiful Brehana is 3 weeks younger than Savannah. During the process we chatted on the phone and e-mailed a lot and then when our girls were 22 months we met at Downtown Disney together and it was like lifelong friends. Then we saw her in March for Savannah's 3rd Birthday and now. We are hopefully going back to FL in December and will reunite again. They are just the type of people you know you will be friends with forever no matter where you live, what you do, or what twists and turns your life takes. Her son Cooper is so wonderful to the girls and one of the nicest 9 year olds you will ever meet and Savannah and Brehana are both princesses from the same pod. They are so much alike. Sweet and sassy and so three. But, beautiful and wonderful all the same. I couldn't get the best pictures, but everyone had fun and enjoyed meeting Seth and Shelby and her mom got their baby fix for now. It was so nice to finally meet Shelby's mom who I heard so much about. She is just like Shelby. You feel immediately comfortable with her, like you have known her forever. We did not get to meet her dad who stayed back in FL to hold down the fort and her son Andrew was feeling under the weather.
A whole lot of love with Shelby's Mom--where's Savannah (do you see a little blue behind the chair?) There is S and B hugging "Grandma" who is holding Seth.
Savananh and Brehana playing. I am glad to see Savannah isn't the only toddler that must click the car seat straps closed. It's a three year old thing.
A second before they were all looking
Cooper got in on the group hug--Savannah's taking a lemonade break.
Seth is up and Brehana is helping Shelby feed him. I love the hand on the hip.
I couldn't move back enough because Seth was sleeping in his car seat, so I chopped off Rich's head and Savannah looked down at her popcorn as soon as I snapped the picture. The second before she was looking and smiling. My camera is too slow. I need a digital SLR.
Mommy and her girl! Can't believe it was three years ago already that we went through the process to make them ours forever. What wonderful girls!

Some Sunny Sunday Snapshots

Just pictures today. Not too much to report, but loving our children, sleeping better, and enjoying some nice weater--finally! We had our first post placement visit on Friday and it went awesome. Love our social worker. Savannah certainly showing us her toddler side of THREE. Will we make it to four? I hope soon. We are hopefully purchasing a minivan soon, because we desperately need it. Our cars are majorly lacking in space. We went to the dealer and they are looking for the one we want. Swinging and Sleeping Soundly Fast asleep in my bouncer (Savannah gave him the bear)
Sleeping Toddler--very rare
Look at this work of art
Stripes and Smiles

Here is what you have been waiting for!
Waving Hello
Sly Smile
That's all for now!

Like Mommy, Like Daughter

Savannah's creative play and imitation is so precious. She also plays, sings, names all her little people Mommy, Daddy, Savannah and Seth, plays dollhouse, kitchen, and Barbies. But by far the cutest imitation is that she wants to do the exact same thing I do with Seth with her dolls. Rich got it perfectly on camera. Feeding our babies Burping our babies
And some more to eat
A highchair feeding
I am hands-free
Multi-task oriented
Carrying my baby in the Baby Bjorn
Having some sushi with chopsticks
And some juice
Tea or Coffee?

12 Weeks

It is hard to believe that our baby boy is 12 weeks today. We met him about 10 weeks ago. Next Friday he will be three months old (on Auntie I's birthday--the are both 12th's). We love Seth so much and feel blessed he is part of our family. We have gotten to know him pretty well now and he has changed a lot in the last 2 months so here are 12 things about Seth!!!! 1. He loves to bounce more than anything. Bounce me, bounce me, bounce me. It makes him smile, makes him sleep, makes him coo, etc. Depending on his mood, but boucing works almost fool proof. 2. He is not a fan of the car. 3. He is a power eater and burper. He sucks down his bottle and burps really well and fast. 4. If he could be held 24/7 he would never cry. He is very cuddly and loves to be held. 5. He may be little in size, but is very strong. His core is all strength and it allows him to do many things. 6. He loves Savannah. He looks for her and follows her voice and actions. If he is upset, he calms down when he sees she is there. 7. He loves to grasp my hair, twist it around his fingers, and then pull really hard. 8. He doesn't go to all people. He prefers woman, but really likes Mommy the best. 9. Has the best smile 10. Is a very light sleeper, but can fall asleep fast, but be up just as fast too 11. Likes wide neck bottles 12. Doesn't like anything on his feet. Works hard to kick off his socks, takes off shoes instantly and kicks out of blankets.
LOVE this photo There is that cute smile
Cooing
Little look I love
Starting to smile

How do you like my outfit for being 12 weeks?
