Who invited a pirate to dine with us?

We had a fabulous Father's Day weekend celebration.  It started with my dad and Sheila coming on Thursday night to attend Savannah's gymnastics show on Friday.  Friday poured all day and night and after her show we went out for Thai Food.  Then Sheila had to leave to next day to celebrate Father's Day with her dad and we went to the beach in New London on the Long Island sound.  It was splendid and we had a wonderful day.  Then Rich's parents joined us for dinner and Father's Day the next day.

We went to brunch at the Murasaki Cafe at the Mark Twain House in Hartford.  They had the composer of the score from the off broadway show "I Love You, You're Perfect. Now Change."  He did Gershwin, Cole Porter and some of his original music.  He was fantastic and kept Seth entertained.  The cafe is American/Japanese, so they had noodles, rice, maki rolls, and edamame along with some traditional brunch food and lots of fruit and desserts.  It was unique and delicious and great time.  Then my dad headed back to NJ and Rich's parents toured the Mark Twain House (Seth couldn't tolerate that).  We walked around the gardens and then went to a park and out to dinner later.  On Monday Rich had off so we continued our celebration at the Masquamacut Beach in Rhode Island.  The weather was perfect and we spent the day on the beach and then out to dinner on the beach too.  Just paradise.
