We had the perfect fall day yesterday.  We met our Itsy Bitsy Yoga friends at a new farm and pumpkin patch--Fairweather Acres in Rocky Hill.  My awesome friend Stephanie arranged it and there were about 10 people there.  We had so much fun with the fall festivities on the hay ride, kids games, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and corn maze.  It was the perfect weather day after being so stormy all week.  We had a great time and it is so different from where we are going next week.  Fall is the nicest time in New England with a variety of things to do and see and take advantage of the best weather time of the year, except for the getting dark early.

After the farm we went out for dinner at Wood and Tap and ate outside.   We were one of the only people there since it was before 5 p.m., so we let Seth roam around the patio until the food came and then he had pizza and dipped it in ketchup, cranberry sauce and hummus.   If he has something to dip and dinner doesn't take too long, he is sometimes ok.  He enjoyed looking at the planes and the birds and he did not have to sit very long.  Then we went to Toys R Us and Seth got his first bicycle (trike) and a helmet.  It is so hard to find one for him since his legs can't reach the pedals.  Poor little guy.  This one is perfect though.

All is going well.  School is great for Savannah and she also loves her new dance class.  You can see her doing her moves.  Seth is getting his 9th tooth and has his 18 month well child tomorrow so I will post his stats.  Besides liking to dip all his food, he loves soup.  That is the only way we can sneak some veggies into his diet. Tomato soup was his dinner the other night and since he ate it from mine he ate black beans, rice, avocado, and chicken in it.  And he asked for more.   Seth's language is developing very quickly.  He says lots of words along with his own baby talk and makes his wishes known quite clearly and loudly.   It is amazing.

Welcome Fall!

Look at Savannah's expression.  And yes, Seth has his toothbrush.  Sometimes he won't give it up.
Princess in pink ready to go to Disney on Ice
Seth's new table and chair.  Yes, he has to eat from a Dora plate and with a Dora fork, just like Savannah.
Beautiful girl when you ask her to smile
He is eating and waving and only sitting because Savannah is with him and he happens to really like ravioli.
Saying hi with a mouthful
Don't ask why Savannah is wearing Christmas pajamas (I don't).  Sweet picture though.
Since Savannah started school Seth is always hugging her and holding onto her.
Doing stickers before school.  Seth climbed up on her chair and worked his way in
Savannah helping her little brother
Savannah matching her American Girl doll on her half birthday.  6 months after she got it and they dressed alike to go to American Girl.
Loves Baby Dolls
Some loving for her brother
How sweet
She wanted to sit like Seth with the same exprssion.  I think they did it.
Doing her hip hop dance moves

Beautiful girl in her new "back to school shirt"
Love this picture

She decorated her school bag and was so proud
Just so sweet

Fall has officially started today and there is a chill in the air, leaves are falling, Pumpkin Spice Latte is brewing at Starbucks.  We are in a full school routine and we know have a 4 1/2 year old living with as well as an 18 month old.  Hard to believe in 6 months Seth will be 2 and Savannah will be 5.  Savannah continues to thrive in school and is loving it.  It is such a positive environment for her.  I am so happy.

We went to Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 on Sunday and both kids loved it.  We are headed up to Saratoga Springs on Sunday, since Savannah has off on Monday.  We just love it there.  Fall is our favorite time of year.  We are looking forward to getting our pumpkin in a few weeks.

Seth's language is really blossoming.  It is so exciting to see it develop so young.  He answers yes and no questions very clearly, he understands and responds to 2 part commands, and says lots of words and also will have a whole coversation in his own language.  Seth is also loving the novelty of walking and will not sit for 2 seconds.  Going out to dinner is going to have to be on hold for awhile.  Lots of take out.
