Savannah and Papa went on the Trick or Treat Trail

We had a great time at Six Flags Fright Fest.  Luckily it isn't too scary during the day.  We left when it started to get dark so the kids wouldn't get afraid of the ghosts and ghouls and witches.  They had a full day of fun with Thomas, The Wiggles World and Looney Toons.  Savannah also went on the Trick or Treat Trail.  Savannah's biggest accomplishment was that she went down (through) a tube slide for the first time.  She had previously been afraid and even said she did not want to do it when we first go there.  But then something came over her and she climbed up the playscape in Wiggles World and I asked her if she was going down the slide and she said yes and I waited for her at the bottom and she came through with a big smile and then did a 100 times more and even came down on her belly a few times.  After the slide success we went to the Wiggles Haunted Halloween show and both kids loved it.  Seth was mesmorized and Savannah danced up front the entire time.  We had a great time with perfect weather and my dad and Sheila so we had two extra sets of adult hands.  It was a super day and ended with dinner at Red Robin that Seth slept through the entire time since he was so exhausted from his exciting day.  Then we came home Rich's baseball team also sweeped the series with 3-0 win over the Reds.  We may be headed for another Yankees-Phillies showdown.

WHEEE!  Seth loved it and made Daddy go many times, like Savannah last year, but this year she went once and that was enough.
Tuckered out kids from the pumpkin patch
Out of order but too cute to erase.  Seth ready with hydration for a bike ride with Daddy.
Too cute for words.

After an eventful ride to our house with a road closure and having to stay in a hotel, my Dad and Sheila made it on Saturday to spend the day at Rose's Berry Farm Fall Festival with us.  First we went and had lunch outside at Sakura Garden where we had sushi, miso soup and tempura (yum) .  Then we went to the Fall Festival.  This is our very favorite farm because they have a playground for kids and they decorate the hayride road with pumpkin figures to the pumpkin patch and have a corn maze that is easy for kids to navigate.  We just love the little store too.  The kids had a marvelous time in the corn maze, picking pumpkins and playing on the slides, tires, and pedal run tractors.  It was a glorious weather day.  These pictures were taken by my dad and Sheila becasue I thought I forot my camera and then later found it on the bottom of the baby bag under the snacks, diapers, wipes, and extra clothes.  Rich has photos on his iphone to upload too and then I will add more.  It gave us such joy to see the kids have so much fun and then sleep afterwards after all the activity.

After naps we did take our dinner of pasta and pizza and watched the Yankees sweep the Twins and move onto the next round of playoff games.  Wonder if we will have another Yankees vs. Philles World Series to divide our home for 7 games.  Ha, ha.
