I am SO thrilled with how our professional portraits came out for the first time as a family of 4! Savannah wouldn't sit next to Seth, but that is ok. She was as cooperative as a 3 year old can be. We got one great family photo and you only need one. Seth did awesome. He loved the lights, the flash and I am sure all the attention. At the end Savannah was giving him his bottle and kissing his head. It was sweet. I am sure when the holidays roll around it will be a totally different expereince.
Hope you enjoy them!

Many Faces of Seth

Big Smile Seth
Surprised Seth
Sacked out Seth
Seth is starting to have multiple facial expressions--including smiling. He is very expressive and makes lots of sounds too. It is amazing to watch him develop and change every day. I can already tell he is growing up way too fast. He will be 10 weeks tomorrow.
It looks like another nice day today. Hopefully we are having a pattern change in our weather.

Stroller Fun

We had half a nice day on Friday, so that was the first time we have gotten to try out the double stroller. After our portraits (which came out great. I will load the CD and post them when I have second--haha maybe in 2010) we walked around this really nice, upscale, outside mall with the double stroller and got a bite to eat. It was fun "driving" it and I really like it. Of course, Seth was happeir sleeping on his belly in it and Savannah wasn't sure at first about the new passenger next door. Daddy also took Savannah out in the jogging stroller on the airline trail on Saturday for 5 miles.
It is extremely hard to find the time to do the blog, so I am sorry if it is brief and I miss some days. It is important to me and I want everyone to be able to see our family, so I try my best. Savannah running with Daddy (actualy sitting--he is running) Cutest runner on the trail
We bribed (not really) with lemon sorbet from Coldstone Creamery to go back in the stroller. Seth is sacked out.
Mommy's dream--pushing her two babies in a double stroller
All comfy and settled in.
Neither passenger was too thrilled at first.
Ok, one is settling in to go to sleep and the other is trying to bolt.
Who is that next door to me?
Ok, he is sleeping and I took some pictures, can I get out now?

Our Big Girl

Savannah has become an expert gift opener. She opens gifts for Seth and for her. People are so nice and considerate and bring her big sister gifts. Beautiful girl riding a moose.
Feeding her "baby" on the boppy.
Putting on her baby's shoes
Just Beautiful
Being Silly
She actually fell asleep in Seth's bouncy seat with her doll.
She always straps her dolls in for safety
Doing push ups with Daddy
All dressed up and ready to go to a party.
Painting with dots
Trying hard to potty learn. She has all the steps and is just trying to put it together.
Always there to lend a helping hand with Seth
On the treadmill with Daddy
Barbie Cruise Ship--big girl toy
Savannah is growing up and changing so quickly. She is maturing in leaps and bounds. It is hard to see it day to day, but being a big sister has really helped her independence, her confidence, and her development. She is also such a "little mommy" and loves to help with Seth and does all the mommy things with her baby dolls. This is such a fun age to watch her grow and develop and take on new roles and responsibilities. She is speaking more and more each day and has suddenly grown physically in leaps and bounds and all her 2T's are now small and she is fitting into 3T in just a month.
Rich and Savannah have gotten very close. The daddy-daughter bond is very evident. It is so sweet. They are working out together--well Savannah sits in the jogging stroller and Rich runs. She also has tried out the treadmill and in Japan she did stretches with Rich.
We are so proud of her in all she has done, accomplished, and adjusted to in the last 2 months. She is an amazing girl and we are so lucky to have her as our daughter and Seth is so fortunate to have such an awesome big sister as a role model.
