Standing on Pink Cars and Sweet Potato Smiles

The biggest accomplishment of the week for Seth was learning to pull up. Yes, he is pulling up and almost coasting. Yeah! It was so surprising. He just go on his knees and pulled up on the couch. He got the hugest smile and then just stood and reached for things on the couch. It was great because we happened to be on Skype with my dad too. He can crawl like a champ now and alternates between on his hands and knees and his belly using his elbows. He prefers to stand and reach though and can change directions and coast to something very close by. Seth is also getting his second tooth, on the bottom, right next to the first one. Since he has a tooth and a half he feels that he has graduated from baby food and would like to eat everything we eat. His favorite table food, of course, is actual sweet potato. We went out to Texas Roadhouse and he at half of a half of sweet potato (if you are not familiar with Texas Roadhouse, the sweet potatoes are huge). He also ate pancakes yesterday. He has also enjoyed chicken, rice, noodles, spaghetti, bread, hummus, tofu, and miso soup.

It is so much fun to watch him grow and develop and Savannah gets a kick out of it too and helps him so much. He has taken a special liking to Savannah's Step 2 Cozy Coupe. He doesn't mind that it is pink and so far, she doesn't mind sharing. What's this? Something to pull up on?

This is actual sweet potato, not baby food. Big boy with one tooth prefers table food to baby food.
