Today was one of the hardest days. We had to say good bye to our beloved cat. He was almost 18, but we would have had him for 15 years on January 1st, 2010. We came home from Florida last night and he wasn't doing great, but then this morning he really took a turn for the worst, so we made the most humane decision. He was such a wonderful cat and brought us so many years of joy and happiness. He asked for nothing and just gave love in return. He was so sweet and affectionate. He was our first born furry child and the first time adoption touched our lives. When we shelter saved him, they told us he was 2 1/2, so we are figuring he is at least 17 1/2.
Fudgie, you will always be in our hearts and our thoughts. We love you!

  2. Remember the good family times with Fudgie, that will help ease your pain now. It's so hard to say goodbye to our furry friends, hard choice when to know when it's time and all, but know that Fudgie is always close by in spirit, right there when Seth takes his first steps, when Savannah has her first days of school, and all that goes along with it, but Fudgie will be free of pain, and not suffering, I bet right now he's right there on the Elmo couch where he should be! Hang In There Brody family - you're in our thoughts and prayers!
