Two Far Away Lands; One Love That Is Grand: Visa Day--This Boy is Going to the USA

Today was Visa Day at the Embassy. It was so smooth, easy, and organized. The Embassy was really crowded today, but Taz got us through with no problems. It was the same really nice woman at window #2 and we took the oath again and she said we asked we if have enjoyed our time in Tokyo and said we were approved and they would call us back to pick up the Visa in a few minutes. In 10 minutes and was ready and we had our packet to give to immigration and we were out the door in less than 2 hours. It was amazingly fast and organized compared to Guatemala. And it was so pleasant to have someone competent and who cares to help you. Taz will never know how much all she did to make this possible meant to us. She is such a special and unique person. You don't find many like her who truly care and are doing this for the right reasons. We are so happy to have met her in have her in our lives. Savannah simply adores her. She took to Taz right away and just loves her. Children have such a good sense of people! Afterwards we went to the most amazing breakfast at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel. It was delicious and so nice to have fresh fruit, omlettes, salad, etc. It may have been the nicest breakfast buffet I have ever seen. Then we went to our mandatory Starbucks stop. Now we are relaxing in the apartment while the baby naps and tonight we are going out for authentic Japanese food to celebrate our wonderful son being part of our family. It is incredible to see our names listed as his mother and father. Very exciting! We are thrilled beyond belief and so happy to have our complete family together forever.
