Daddy going to get the car in the pouring rain so we will hang out here in the rain and stay dry. Bye Lake Placid until next time.
We went to the Adirondack Mountains this weekend for the running of the 7th Annual Lake Placid Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. Rich did the 13.1 in 1:45:23. He was very happy with the result on a very hilly course and his first 1/2 marathon in over a year. The rain held out for him (not the poor marathoners) and he had a great run. Congrats Rich! Our weekend started out in Lake George at the Great Escape Six Flags Park. It was a gorgeous day and the kids had a fantastic time at the park after our breakfast at Suttons Place. We stayed for 4 hours and they explored the park which used to be Storyland, so it is very child oriented and friendly. Seth rode his first ride with just Savannah and no adults (little boats). Mommy and Savannah rode the skyride while Seth was sleeping. Afterwards we ate dinner and went to Lake Placid. We walked around the beautiful town and had a light bite outside overlooking gorgeous Mirror Lake. Lake George and Lake Placid are two of my favorite places. The next two days were basically a wash out (except for the few hours of the race) and we went to the movies and Seth saw his first movie in the theater--Kung Fu Panda 2. He did awesome and I am not sure if he liked the movie or the popcorn better. It was a success and we will look forward to seeing Cars 2 in a few weeks. It was pouring after the race so we headed out with a pit stop in Lake George for lunch.
Our rainy weekend was fun filled and now we have Savannah's last day of preschool and her Gymfest show to look forward to and then Father's Day on Sunday! Yeah!

Beautiful pictures of your beautiful children! Looks like a wonderful weekend. Glad you all had a nice time.
