Valentine's Day morning. You can tell who got up first. Poor Seth only had a red sweatshirt. No cute Valentine's Day clothes for boys, but 1000 for girls.

We are going to have our Valentine's Day celebration on Monday, since Rich is working in the ER today. That is fine. I would rather go out when it is less crowded, less expensive, and less commericalized, but just as special. So tomorrow after Savannah's swimming lesson we will go out for a nice dinner. We will also give the kids their presents tomorrow. When Seth takes his nap, Savannah and I are going to paint hearts for Daddy.
Yesterday Rich took Savannah to one of our local mountains in Avon, Ski Sundown. She had her first ski lesson with an instructor (and daddy near by) for an hour. It was a private lesson and she loved it. The instructor said she was a natural and caught on a lot faster than kids older than her. She is very athletic. The instructor asked Rich if she gets it from me. I am sure he was rolling on the snow laughing. I am the furthest thing from a skier. I don't like anything about it. We are so proud of her. She is an amazing girl. She just adapts to new things so quickly. Maybe daddy will finally get the ski buddy he has been waiting for. The jury is still out on Seth...too early to tell. But, if the three of them ski in the future, lots of time for mommy to shop and go to the spa. She is going to take a lesson next weekend at Gore Mountain and Whiteface when we are up in the Adirondacks.
Savannah chose to get dressed up for Valentine's Day even though we stayed in. She chose the entire outfit and accessories you see above.
Hope everyone had a loving and lovely day!
