Rich has to work this Memorial Day from 8-6, but that is ok. Papa is here with us and we are going to a party at a friend's house for their daughter Heather who is turning one (the organizer of our Adoptive Mom's Group is Mommy). Then we will probably go to the playground and maybe to look at minivans. Then we are going to meet Rich for dinner.

Yesterday we went to our friend's Sachin and Ashka's surprise birthday party for Ashka. She was really surprised. We had a great time and their friends are really nice. Lots of doctors since Sachin and Rich work together in the ER. The only thing I like about his job is that we met them.

We were planning to go to Foxwoods for my dad's birthday, but we had such severe thunderstorms, that we decided not to drive, wait it out and then go out to dinner locally. We went to the Asian Bistro and Savannah sat at the hibachi table and did not cry. She was only a little scared when they did the volcano, but she ate brown rice and avocado and all was fine in the world. We can go hibachi again! We had them sing to my dad and he was surprised. The photos are on the iphone though, along with the ones from Sachin and Ashka's party.
